It is the work of the property committee to oversee the maintenance of the church property and grounds, and make all necessary repairs to keep the church property in good repair.
The stewardship committee provides the congregation with stewardship education and promotes care, generosity, and oversight among the members toward the church and the church family, as well as the needs and concerns of the wider church throughout our nation and the world.
Christian Education/Worship Committee
This joint committee plans and provides the administration of our Sunday School program, including recruiting and training teachers, reviewing annually the curriculum and scheduling the Children’s Worship Sunday, which takes places the second Sunday of the month. This group also provides guidance and support to the pastor in planning our church’s approach to worship and other special church events related to worship.
The mission committee plans, and oversees, special projects and events in the life of the church which will raise monies for Our Church’s Wider Mission (OCWM) and other designated causes. Some of the annual events sponsored by the mission committee have included the Cookie and Candy Walk in December, the spring rummage sale, and the Christmas community house walk.
The evangelism committee promotes the growth of our church and provides hospitality, including the weekly coffee hours after our worship services, and welcomes visitors and prospective members to our church family.
